Empowering Student Athletes: Highlights from the 2025 “Project Time Out” Workshop at SMUD Museum of Science and Curiosity
On Saturday, April 19, 2025, student athletes gathered at the SMUD Museum of Science and Curiosity for an inspiring and educational workshop titled “Project Time Out,” organized by Scholar Athletes Globally Emerging, Inc. This engaging session aimed to equip young athletes with essential tools to manage stress, balance academics and sports, and promote overall well-being.

The workshop featured a distinguished panel of experts committed to supporting youth development:
- Dr. Kristee Haggins – a passionate educator and mental health advocate dedicated to empowering student athletes.
- Jose Bodipo Memba – a seasoned coach and mentor focusing on leadership and resilience.
- Rachael Mack, RD, MS, CSSD – a registered dietitian specializing in sports nutrition, sharing insights on fueling the body for peak performance.
