Programmatic Expectations

The expectations for every student are that he or she maintains at least a 3.30 grade point average. 100% of the students are expected to successfully graduate from high school and attend the college or university of their choice with 80% qualifying for UC-eligibility upon graduation. The students must also commit to utilizing the educational concepts, resources, and services available to them; practice socially responsible skills taught through Team S.A.G.E.’s workshops, and mentor future generations of the Team S.A.G.E. community.

So far, students of Team S.A.G.E have exceeded the program expectations. The overall GPA for the original Team Sage-Truth was 3.80 in the first year and 3.40 in the second. There was a marked improvement in overall GPA of all the newly formed Team S.A.G.E. teams from 2.20 in the beginning to 2.80 by the end of school year.  The second year average GPA of these teams was 3.50.

As an academic and athletic force in the community, Team S.A.G.E. has created several partnerships with community organizations.
